Viral Video of Collective Toilets Not Related to Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha Program

Ramlala’s Pran Pratistha will be done on January 22 in the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is inviting special guests from across the country. As the date of Pran Pratistha is approaching, the propaganda against Ram Mandir has increased. Now a video is viral on social media, in this video collective toilets are seen in an open field. There is a claim with this viral video that such preparations were made for the people coming to Ayodhya, however our investigation reveals that this video is not from Ayodhya.

Rajiv Tyagi shared the video on X and wrote, Arrangements for visitors to Ayodhya – two rows of open Indian toilets, directly splashing their contents into an open deep trench latrine.

Apart from this, parody accounts like Kaleen bhaiya, NV, @Based_gryoper, and Riffat wani also shared the viral video and made similar claims.

Fact Check

During our investigation, we Google reverse searched the screenshot of the viral video and found a 12 minutes video on Amit Dubey’s YouTube channel uploaded on 11, 2023. This Youtube video has the same visuals as in the viral video. In this video, YouTuber Amit has told that PM Modi will come to inaugurate Swaraved Mahamandir Dham in Varanasi, UP. For the inauguration of this Dham, arrangements have been made for a collective tent and Havan Kund. Besides, collective toilets have also been built.

After this, we searched keywords related to ‘Swarveda Mahamandir Dham’ on Google and found a report of Zee News published on 11 December, 2023. According to this report, a preaching pandal was set up on the 100th anniversary of Vihangam Yog Sant Samaj on 17 and 18 December at Swarved Mahamandir Dham in Varanasi. 108 blocks are being built in 25 thousand Kundiya Swarveda Gyan Mahayagya spread over 20 lakh square feet. These blocks will be named after the ancient mantra seer sages and sages. There will be 232 ponds in each block. 12 eateries are being built to easily arrange food offerings. There will be twenty counters each. Besides, six cultural restaurants are also being built in which dishes will be prepared according to different states.

After this we came across the Jansatta report published on 18 December 2023. According to this report, PM Modi inaugurated Swaraveda Temple in Varanasi, State CM Yogi Adityanath was also with him. Swarveda temple is built at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore. This temple is being built for the last 20 years. It has seven floors and is the largest meditation center in the world. Here 20,000 people can do yoga and meditation simultaneously.

Hence, It is clear from the investigation that the viral video of collective toilet on social media is not of the preparations for the Pran Pratistha program of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, instead this video is of the inauguration program of ‘Swarveda Mahamandir Dham’ in Varanasi.
