On March 22, Madhya Pradesh’s OBC Mahasabha shared a video of a guy kicking the food and snapping at the women. The OBC Mahasabha giving it a caste angle claimed that the video is from Nainital, and men in the video are kicking the food plate and refusing to eat because it was prepared by Dalit women.
Besides, taking the casteism angle ahead, the journalist, Satya Prakash Bharti, of the propaganda portal, The Mooknayak, claimed that the video is from Madhubani, Bihar and men in the video are kicking the food plate because it was served by the Dalit women.
Not only that, the advocate Manish Kumar, quoting The Mooknayak’s journalist targeted the Hindu community.

Fact Check
We started our research with a keyword search in Hindi and English. With the help of keyword search, we came across a report by Jagran.
As per the Jagran report, the video is three years old and is from Madhubani, Bihar. Moreover, the incident occurred in 2020, at Madhwapur Block Middle School. The school was transformed into a quarantine center during the peak Covid period.
Furthermore, according to the actual incidents, 25 migrant workers were being held in isolation at the Middle School Saharghat quarantine Center. The MDM were feeding these migrant workers. The female cooks served food in a plate and placed it on the bench. However, some migrant workers insisted on sitting and eating without maintaining social distancing. When the cooks refused, the migrants kicked and dumped the food from the table. Also, they even misbehaved with the female cooks.
Later, the center’s headmaster Haridev Prasad, submitted the FIR and requested that further action be taken. Moreover, using the complainant’s name and district, our team was able to obtain a copy of the FIR from the State Crime Record Bureau.
Furthermore, according to the FIR, the accused Pankaj Kumar, Manoj Kumar, and Ashok Shah misbehaved with the female cooks and kicked off the food dish. The FIR has filed under various sections 269/270/427/353/354/34 IPC and 51 Disaster Management Act. Besides, as per the Indian Penal Code, these sections are not related or applicable to the crime based on religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, caste and community or any other grounds. Moreover, the FIR also did not make any mention of the caste angle.
Hence, considering the above aspects, the claim that the migrants kicked the food plate because the female cooks were Dalit is fake. Moreever, the video is also old. The migrant workers did not wanted to maintain the social distancing while eating, and when refused they created the ruckus and misbehaved with the female cooks.
