The incident, which was connected to the people’s religious belief, soon gained a wide attention on social media. We chose to look into this case since the posted images and videos were upsetting. We began our inquiry based on the facts and learned certain things that AAP did not mention in their tweet.

Fact Check

Let’s take an insight at the entire situation before moving on to the fact check.

The incident pertains to an action Gujarat’s Navsari Urban Development Association (NUDA) filed against illegal construction of the temple in the Navsari district. According to the official NUDA directive, this temple was illegally built on the residential land. This land was only meant to be the route for everyone and any type of costruction will be illegal, according to the agreement of 1998.

In 1998, Champak Bhai Maganbhai Patel, Parvati Ben Maganbhai Patel, Hansa Ben Maganbhai Patel, and Kusumben Maganbhai Patel were the members of the Sarvodaya Nagar Society.

According to NUDA, the temple was illegitimately built without the necessary authorization in an area that was used for residential purposes. Prior to establishing the temple, Sarvodaya Nagar Society’s permission was required in accordance with NUDA’s directive; however, because this approval was not acquired, the structure is illegal. According to the rules of the agreement between these two parties in 1998, this spot was meant to be the only route for everyone, but the other side violated the provisions of the agreement and constructed this temple.

The hearing was completed, and an order was issued.

The government initiated action against the construction since it was unpermitted and went against the contract. Without offending anyone’s religious feelings, the police and administration removed the Lord Radha Krishna statues from the contested location first. Navsari Live News Channel aired it.

We discovered the video from unidentified source.

Some important facts of the hearing.

According to the party group involved in the lawsuit, any form of development at this location is prohibited. The land is for public to use it as a route. It was said in the hearing that the land cannot be used for any form of development.

We concluded from our research that the administration’s action was appropriate. Additionally, the government had securely removed the God idols by making the right choice.

This proves that AAP’s claim that the BJP destroyed the temple is absolutely absurd. This measure was legally conducted by the administration with the parties’ permission.
