Apart from this, when we read the description of the video, we came to know that the claim made by Fujail Ahmed is false and misleading because the video is not from Madhya Pradesh but from Ranchi, Jharkhand. According to the description, “Anganwadi women workers had surrounded the CM residence in Ranchi. These people were protesting peacefully with nine demands, including making it permanent. The protest was peaceful, but then a female activist became furious. To make them understand, the top police officer himself started beating them with sticks. Dozens of women were injured in the brutal police lathicharge, while a worker’s hand was broken due to the police lathicharge.

Furthermore, to delve deeper into the matter and know the complete picture behind the protests, we conducted relevant keyword searches like “Anganwadi workers protest outside CM residence in Ranchi” and viewed multiple media reports. According to a Go News India report published four years ago, Anganwadi workers were protesting for the 40 days and were on a hunger strike for 12 days and the protest was organized near the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

The workers had protested, asking that Anganwadi workers be recognized as government employees and paid Rs 18,000 per month, while assistants be paid Rs 9,000 per month. They demanded that Mini Anganwadi employees be treated equally, that Anganwadi workers receive social security benefits, that the retirement age be raised to 65 years, and that workers receive retirement payments of Rs 5 lakh and helpers receive payouts of Rs 3 lakh.
