Many Hinduphobe accounts on X (formerly Twitter), mostly based in Pakistan, are actively spreading misinformation and hate content around Indians to propagate a malicious agenda against Indians. Recently, a video of a person making bhang is going viral, in which it is being claimed that he is selling it to people by mixing cow dung in milk. @/AsianDigest aka Crime Reports India (archived link), a Pakistan-based Hinduphobe propagandist account, shared the video and wrote, “People actually pay to drink cow dung in India (Pajeet Land). The tweet has garnered almost 4k likes so far.

Account @/asassin2722 (archived link) wrote, “People actually pay to drink Cow dung in India.”

Another account @/NiazAam (archived link) wrote, “People actually pay to drink Cow dung in India (Pajeet Land).”

Fact Check

At the beginning of our research, we extracted keyframes from the video and ran a reverse image search. With the help of reverse image search, we found the original video uploaded by @/proteenx4699 on YouTube. The video is titled “Making Bhang.”
