Fact Check

During our investigation, we first did a reverse search of the video shared by Ummah Khan, aiming to discern the reality behind the disturbing footage. To our astonishment, we stumbled upon a significant revelation during this process – a YouTube video posted on Bilashi TV on the 23rd of May, 2021. As we pressed play, we were confronted once again with the same haunting visuals, mirroring those shared by Ummah Khan.

However, we were shocked to see the reality of the video. According to the Bilashi TV, the incident captured in the video did not originate in India, as initially suggested, but rather, it occurred in Bangladesh. The heart-wrenching scene depicted the horrific murder of a man named Shahin Uddin, who fell victim to a heinous act of violence at the hands of his assailants, in front of his child, in Pallabi, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As our investigation delved further, we encountered yet another Youtube video that solidified the grim truth of the matter. On News24’s YouTube channel, a video dated May 22, 2023, presented the same haunting visuals as shared by Ummah Khan. The consistency in the footage left no room for doubt – the incident indeed took place in Bangladesh, and the victim was the unfortunate Shahin Uddin.

According to News24’s report, the heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded on May 16, 2023, at approximately 4 pm, in the Pallabi area of the capital, Dhaka. The details that emerged painted a devastating picture – a person named Shahin Uddin, was subjected to a brutal and merciless attack, succumbing to fatal wounds inflicted by a sharp weapon. The most harrowing aspect was that it all happened in front of his innocent child.

After this, we did a keyword search with the words, the person killed in front of his child in Bangladesh. During this, we came across a report by Daily Bangladesh, posted on May 20, 2021, which presented a detailed account of the appalling tragedy that had taken place. The visuals in this report mirrored those shared by Ummah Khan, solidifying the veracity of the incident’s location in Bangladesh, where the victim, Shahin Uddin, met a horrifying fate at the hand of Md.
