According to one of the report by Times Now on this matter, it states that in a letter sent to President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday, Samajwadi party leader IP Singh demanded that party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, who passed away on Monday, should be honoured with the nation’s highest civilian honour, “Bharat Ratna.”
Further, we found a tweet from IP Singh in which he demanded that Mulayam Singh should be given the “Bharat Ratna,” the nation’s highest civilian honour, immediately. He simultaneously asked CM Yogi Adityanath that Agra-Lucknow Expressway should be renamed as “Dhartiputra Mulayam Singh Yadav” Expressway. A letter that was written by him to the president is also attached in a tweet.
