Another handle Mohini Monarch asserted, “In Bihar, the dancer reached out her hand for a high-five, but the crowd thought it was a “pull me into the mosh pit” invitation – next time, just wave! Girl on stage extends hand like a rockstar; Bihar boys treat it like a free raffle ticket – security’s new job: human tug-of-war champions.” (Archived link)

Fact Check
In our fact-checking research, we extracted keyframes from the video and performed a reverse image search. During this process, we discovered that the video was originally posted on October 24, 2025, on the Instagram account @nepali____tharuni______143. The video was posted in two parts. (Part 1 and part 2)
In the second part, where the female dancer was dragged off the stage, we can see the text ‘जनजागरण कृषि सहकारी सं. लि’ written on the wall.

Searching this text on Google, it was found that it is an organization located in Nepal.

This confirms that the video is from Nepal, not India. We also scrutinized the Instagram handle and found that similar dance videos from Nepal have been uploaded there.
In conclusion, the video of the young female dancer being dragged off the stage and harassed by men is not from India. The video is originally from Nepal. Hence, the claims linking the video to India are misleading.
