A video is circulating on X with a claim that, based on the advice of a Pandit (a Hindu scholar), people are vandalizing solar panels because the Pandit allegedly advised that they disturb the Sun God. The video and accompanying claim are being shared with the intent to mock Hinduism.

Dhruv Rathee parody posted a video on X with the caption, ‘A Pandit told these people that solar energy causes trouble to the Sun God. So on the advice of Pandit, they started breaking the solar power.’

Turkish Media RTEUrdu wrote, ‘In India, people attacked solar panels at the behest of a Hindu pandit. The Pandit said that if we use solar energy, we will disturb the sun god.’

Shahin Khan claimed, ‘In Rajasthan, on the advice of a pandit, they started breaking the solar power. The Pandit says that solar energy causes trouble to the Sun God.’
