Sadaf Afreen, who is a journalist according to her bio, and has been often caught for spreading misinformation, recently posted (Archived link) a video of American News Organisation CNNs team rushing and taking shelter near the Israel-Gaza border amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas battle, which quickly went viral on social media. The video includes verbal commentary from an off-camera individual who appears to be giving instructions to the squad on how to perform in front of the camera. Sadaf posted on Twitter, “Fake attack on Israel for the camera is exposed by CNN. Media propaganda got busted. #Gaza #GazaUnderAttack #Palestine.” She accused CNN of fabricating the attack.

Fact Check
During our research, we discovered that the video posted by Sadaf Afreen featured The Quartering’s watermark on the top left of the video, and the tweet also revealed that the video was taken from The Quartering’s account.
So we went to The Quartering’s account, where we discovered the identical video with the title, “CNN Busted FAKING Attack In Israel For The Camera!” However, they have confirmed in the comments below that the audio is altered. “A few people missed the fact that this is an into from the longer coverage lol. Yes of course the voice over isn’t real but the fake acting IS real. :)” The Quartering remarked (Archived link).

Furthermore, the tweet has a community remark that states, “Note needed because of the very well made pastiche audio of an authentic CNN clip, since the post mentions a fake attack without specifying that it is a parody.”
We also went to CNN’s YouTube page to acquire the original footage. We discovered the organization’s coverage on its verified YouTube page, where it was initially uploaded on October 9, two days after Hamas launched an attack on Israel. We noted that there was no voice-over directing the reporter and her team.
In addition, the New York Post reported that a CNN spokesperson told them, “The audio in the video posted and shared on X is fabricated, inaccurate, and irresponsibly distorts the reality of the moment that was covered live on CNN, which people should watch in full for themselves on a trusted platform.”
Hence, the video tweeted by Sadaf Afreen and others is edited.
