The opportunist politicians and the left ecosystem always try to ridicule the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits. The Kashmiri Pandits are living as refugees in their own country and were victims of ethnic cleansing in 1990.
Moreover, based on the true events of the 1990 genocide, The Kashmir Files movie has spectacularly depicted the horrors of the 1990s and successfully brought the suffering of Kashmiri Pandits to the attention of the world. However, the left wing relentlessly tries to deny the genocide and label the film as propaganda.
One such propagandist is carrying forward the left’s propaganda in the vilest way possible. Mohammed Zubair, the fake news peddler, recently uploaded the video of the Kashmir pandit woman in which she criticizes the BJP and alleges that it has done nothing for them.
She also adds how the movie The Kashmir Files did not bring reality to the world’s attention and that Vivek Agnihotri is using the pain of Kashmiri pandits to make money.
Besides Zubair, we found the video uploaded on the Twitter account of Umesh Talashi, the member of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference who is himself a Kashmiri Pandit.

Fact Check
We started our research by viewing the complete video and spotting the logo of Online News India. Because the video had Online News India’s logo, we checked the YouTube channel and got access to the complete video.
However, after watching the complete video, we found that a woman in the viral video is wearing the “State Yatri” identity card of the Congress, and the party’s flag is visible in the background.
In further research, we found that the woman in the video is the wife of Congress worker and activist Shadilal Pandita. Moreover, we searched the Facebook page of Shadilal Pandita and found that he apparently has two Facebook pages, and we discovered a photo of the woman in the viral video on one of his pages.
Furthermore, we discovered that Shadilal Pandita was featured in the BBC’s critical report about the movie, The Kashmir Files. Apart from this, we also discovered that Shadilal is the society’s president. Also, he is spearheading a protest against the government for relief demands and is supported by the local Congress.
Since the woman is the wife of the Congress party worker, it is very obvious that she is going to speak against the BJP.
Mohammed Zubair, who represents Shadilal’s wife as a voice of Kashmiri Pandits, objected when the Aaj Tak channel introduced the BJP member as a social worker.
Therefore, the personal opinion of a person belonging to a particular political party or organization cannot be considered the voice of an entire community of Kashmiri Pandits.
Moreover, let us now turn to what the BJP has done for the Kashmiri Pandits. So, our team found the Home Ministry’s PIB report, which lists the government’s schemes and packages for Kashmiri Hindus.
As per PIB report, many Kashmiri pandits have relocated in the valley with the assistance of the BJP administration. Various packages have been created for them, such as RS 7.5 Lacs to repair their houses and RS 7.5 Lacs to repurchase their properties.
Additionally, they receive monetary relief on a regular basis, and 6,000 positions have been announced through PM Packages. Thus, to say that the government is not doing anything for Kashmiri pandits is baseless.
