A video of a girl badly beating a man in the middle of the road is going viral on X (formerly Twitter). It is being claimed that this video is from recent, where a BJP worker named Vijay Pandey was caught molesting little girls during Navratri in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.

Fact Check
In our fact check, we extracted different keyframes from the viral video and did a reverse image search. Through reverse image search, we found an article by One India where we saw the same keyframe.
According to the report of One India, it was found that the incident is from 2019 and took place in Vijaytakhand area of Vibhutikhand police station of Lucknow. It is said in the article that a priest named Vijay Pandey made some obscene comments on the girls passing by in the middle of the road. Two girls also passed by and Vijay could not stop himself from making lewd comments at them.
The girls got enraged by his action and caught him. Both the girls beat him badly. Vijay was kicked and punched in the face. Seeing the girls beating him, a crowd gathered and recorded the video. Later the police was also informed and a case was registered against Vijay.
Conclusion: The video is not recent but from 2019, when a man named Vijay Pandey was making lewd comments on girls on the middle of the road. Angered by his behaviour, two girls beat him brutally. The claim going viral on X is misleading as the man is not associated with BJP.
