A video shows two soldiers detaining a child, and then a man intervenes. The soldier then attacks a man by grabbing, pushing, and shoving him. Soon after, all three troops became engaged in the altercation, restraining and ultimately detaining him. This video was published on the X platform by the user Ragged Trousered Philanderer (Archived link), who claimed that Israeli forces kidnapped a youngster in front of his father. The post said, “Imagine just how helpless and humiliated you’d feel to be a Palestinian father watching armed enemy Israeli soldiers abduct your children and take them off to god knows where to be beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted and detained for months or years?”

Fact Check
In the start of our research, we ran a reverse image search of the extracted frames from the video and found the claim to be misleading. The video is nearly 8 years old.
According to a story released in 2015 by RT, Israeli Defence Forces detained a six-year-old kid and an activist in the Aida Palestinian refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The footage is also included in the report, which is currently being published on the X platform to link the event to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Furthermore, it is to be noted that the child shown in the video is recognized as Abdallah Lutfi Yousef, who was forcibly pulled by Israeli troops. It’s important to note that the man attempting to intervene and stop the soldiers is not Abdallah’s father but rather Munther Amira, a prominent figure associated with the Palestinian Popular Struggle Coordination Committee.
Additionally, the same video was shared by the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee on their Facebook page. Furthermore, when Yousef and Amira were detained, residents of the camp sought to have the youngster released, but the Israeli army said that Yousef attempted to assault a soldier. The youngster was taken to a military base in northern Bethlehem. However, after hours of detention, the Israelis eventually released Yousef.
Given the information provided above, it is clear that the video has no relevance to the present ongoing dispute. Hence, the claim that Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian youngster in front of his father is misleading.
