Yesterday, on March 13, 2023, the Indian song ‘Natu-Natu’ of RRR movie won the Oscar prize. However, After this, an India National Congress supporter shared the video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi waving his hand at the empty ground with a mocking remark that the Oscar should be given to this movie.
Alwar Congress Sevdal shared the viral video in which PM Modi is waving his hand in air to no one with the caption “Oscar should be given to this movie. Raja babu lost.”
Another troll congress supporter Gayatri kachhawa also shared the video with the same caption.
Radhey Shayam firm supporter of INC shared the viral video which is edited with a popular south Indian song.

To know why PM Modi was waving his hand towards empty ground we did a reverse image search of the key angle of the viral video and found an article of Economic Times dated February 20, 2022, where they used the same image as their thumbnail. As per the report, when PM Modi visited Unnao during the UP election in 2022, a huge crowd gathered at the helipad to receive PM Modi. Besides, the Economic times shared a video in which a huge crowd can be seen.
Further, we did an open key phrase search of ‘PM Modi Unnao rally’, through which we came across an article of ANI, as per the report, when Prime Minister Modi arrived, he received a grand and warm welcome from the local people. People were gathered and lined up at the terrace, building, and boundary to get a glimpse of their leader.
Moreover, ANI also shared the original video on it’s twitter handle.
Further to be sure if it is the same incident, we compared the key angle of the viral video to the original video and found it matches completely.
Hence, it is clear from the above analysis that PM Modi was waving at the crowd that came to see him while he came out of his helicopter to address the rally at Hardoi. Besides, In the past as well, such edited videos were circulated to mock the ruling party. Such manipulation of information can be damaging and misleading. It is important to fact-check and verify the information before drawing any conclusions.
