Indian American Muslim Council is sharing fake news

“Jai Sri Ram” signifies “glory to Lord Ram,” but Islamists fear it is a war cry slogan. This particular slogan has been used as a propaganda tool by anti-Hindu elements. This notorious propaganda is far more common than anyone could ever account for. Several Hinduphobic media outlets recently reported that “two Hindu supremacists were arrested for shouting Jai Sri Ram in the mosque”

When it comes to spreading Hinduphobia, the Indian American Muslim Council tops the list. On April 27, 2023, the Indian American Muslim Council published, Two Hindu supremacists were arrested after infiltrating the 17th century Makkah Masjid in Telangana state and shouting “Jai Sri Ram,”. The slogan has been used as a warcry by Hindu militants during violent attacks against Muslims. The incident has led to increased security in the mosque.”

Following in the footsteps of one anti-Hindu propaganda platform, other propagandists marched towards it. The Siyasat Daily wrote, 2 shouts ‘Jai Sri Ram’ slogan in Makkah Masjid, held.”

Another Hinduphobic news website slowly crawling to make its place among major hate mongers is The Clarion. The Clarion wrote, “Two Hindu youth allegedly raised ‘Jai Sri Ram’ slogan in Hyderabad’s historic Makkah Masjid on Thursday. They were immediately subdued by the mosque’s security personnel, who then escorted them to the nearby Hussaini Alam police station.”

To put the matter in perspective, according to various Islamist news outlets, Anmol, Vishal, and Venkat, three Maharashtrians, arrived as tourists at the Makkah Masjid on Thursday. The Masjid administration allegedly summoned the police after hearing ‘Jai Shree Ram’ chanting from within the Masjid. Authorities claimed that the three Hindus shouted slogans inside the mosque. The Hussaini Alam police officers then promptly captured two of the suspects and initiated a manhunt to apprehend the third, who had fled.

The question is, did two Hindu boys actually enter the mosque and say, ‘Jai Sri Ram’? We’ll find out soon enough.

Fact Check

We Googled the relevant keyphrase related to this particular case and found out that various local media houses reported the incident, but only a few of them updated the incident as a principle of responsibility. However, News Bharti reported, “Telangana police held 2 Hindus for allegedly raising ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogan at Makkah Masjid released after police found it was phone ringtone”

We also came across another news article from Sanatan Prabhat, which confirmed the ringtone theory. The article reported, “While on the premises of Mecca Mosque near Charminar, a young man’s mobile phone rang with the ringtone ‘Jai Shriram’. As a result, the Muslims present there caught three people and handed them over to the police.”

Upon further amplifying our quest for truth, we found out about the video where the authorities of the same mosque admitted on record that it was a huge misunderstanding. The three boys were tourists from Maharashtra, and it was their mobile ringtone with the “Jai Sri Ram” tone. They also checked our CCTV footage for confirmation, but there was no evidence that the boys had raised the slogans.”

Later, to extend our investigation into this matter, we dug out the tweets relevant to this case. We found that advocate Neelam Bhargav Ram, who is closely looking into this case, tweeted that he verified that the two boys who had been detained previously had been freed by the police following the preliminary investigation into the case. SHO Hussaini Alam also confirmed to him that no FIR had been filed in the case.

So, now there is ample evidence to ascertain the facts that Hindu boys didn’t raise ‘Jai Sri Ram’ slogans to inflame communal disharmony. It was their mobile ringtone that rang, and later they had to face the police ordeal and Hinduphobic media trial. However, after proving their innocence, they were released. Hence, it’s a fake incident.

Like most of the time, the anti-Hindu agenda had fallen to the ground to bite the dust. The Only Fact team will stand like a shield to protect dharma so that in the rubble of misinformation, the tree of truth can bear fruits.
