Today, various news reports have come out on an Indian restaurant named “ Lanterns “ in Bahrain being closed down by their authorities, on the grounds that lady customers wearing Hijab denied entry to the restaurant.

All prominent left media including The Wire, Quint, Janta ka report, Scroll, Maktoob stated that the Hindu restaurant denied entry without verifying. They don’t have the slightest care to verify the facts before making such judgements and did not even bother to check with the victim of the case.

Report of the Independent media and Leftist like Ashoka Swine with huge Twitter following went on spreading that the Indian Hindu manager denied the entry to women wearing hijab in his restaurant dragging Hindu right-wing into the matter without context.

Please see below some of the tweets and the responses to this incident.

Leftists have already made this a communal matter, by stating that the manager of the restaurant is from Indian-Hindu from Karnataka thus denied the customer wearing hijab. Hinting at the angle of the recent Karnataka Hijab controversy.

Ismat Ara who writes for Wire, Time, HuffPost, The quint, BBC, The Hindu, News Laundry stated in her tweet that an Indian man from Karnataka opposes the entry of women wearing Hijab in Bahrain.

Many leftist verified Twitter accounts started circulating the said tweet of Ashoka Swine without cross-checking the matter.

This is totally wrong information.

Here are the correct facts related to the incident:

First of all, the allegation is that the manager is an Indian Hindu and so he denied the entry.

But, the customer herself has come out in the open to debunk the lies and has clarified through her Twitter post that the manager is a British national and not at all an Indian Hindu.

Mariam Naji, the said customer, has replied to many of the tweets that went viral after the news reports came out. She very clearly denies the wrong facts and thus properly mentions about the British manager who denied her and her friend’s entry who was wearing hijab to the restaurant.

Now, the point where the news portals have twisted the matter into a communal controversy is that it is the owner of the restaurant who is an Indian, and not the manager.

Sensing good content to fuel religious disharmony, these news portals have presented wrong information about the religious identity of the concerned manager.

No doubt that the denial of entry to her and her friend is unfortunate.

But, as India recently faced the Hijab controversy, the left ecosystem and the news traders in the garb of news portals are connecting the incident of Bahrain with India.

Mariam Naji interacted with the editor of only fact where she clearly stated that the owner of the restaurant, is an Indian who was very polite and respectful towards them, he did not like the behaviour of his manager. She also cleared that the one who denied entry to them was a manager who was the Britisher. Later owner personally apologized to Mariam and her friend who was wearing a hijab.

But as always, the blame is intentionally labelled on Indian Hindus by leftists. It is an alarming situation when such matters get related to India.

It is very clear that the only intention of these so-called Twitter personalities is to add fuel to fire, and the easiest way to attain this is to highlight the Hindu-Muslim divide, where the villain is Indian Hindu. We must not fall prey to these Wrong-Information Tactics and need to stay as united as ever.
