Fact Check
In our research, we extracted different keyframes from the video and ran a reverse image search. The reverse search led us to an article by the Free Press Journal, where we found the same keyframe from the video. According to the report, the incident is from August 2023 and took place in the Budaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
The report states that in Mahloli village, within the Bilsi police station area, the incident of attacking women women occurred due to a property dispute among members of the same family.
As per the Times of India report, the women sustained serious injuries and were admitted to the hospital. The victims filed a complaint at the police station, and the accused were arrested later
Conclusion: The video of a few men attacking women with bricks on a crowded road is a year old. The fight was over a property dispute, and the accused were arrested later.
