The Congress MPs and the members of the other opposition party protested during the first week of the monsoon session in parliament over rising inflation and the good and services tax (GST). The INC members were suspended from Lok Sabha for entire monsoon session on July 25, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 25, 2022, K.C Venu Gopal, member of the parliament, made a tweet condemning the suspension of four Congress MPs Manickam Tagore, Ramya Haridas, Jothimani and TN Prathapan. In his tweet his professed that the Congress MPs were peacefully protesting inside the parliament premises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspension of @INCIndia<\/a> MPs @manickamtagore<\/a>, @jothims<\/a>, @RamyaHaridasMP<\/a> & @tnprathapan<\/a> for protesting against price rise & inflation is reprehensible.

Now even peaceful protest inside Parliament has become "unparliamentary"!!
