The video is being used to suggest that just eight days into the war, which began on June 13, Iran has completely overpowered Israel, leading to widespread destruction, loss of lives, and chaos compelling the people of Israel to plead for a ceasefire.

We began our fact-checking by closely examining the viral video in question. We noticed a “Veo” watermark at the bottom left corner of the footage. Veo is a text-to-video generative AI model developed by Google DeepMind and first announced in May 2024. It’s capable of generating not just video but also accompanying audio based on user prompts confirming that the clip is AI-generated.
To further verify its authenticity, we extracted keyframes from the video and analyzed them using an AI image detection tool. The results showed a 97.2 percent probability that the content was AI-generated or a deep fake.
