A letter went viral on social media which stated that Acharya Pramod had been suspended from the Congress Party with immediate effect. Fake news peddler and alleged fact checker Mohammed Zubair shared the viral letter on his X handle and wrote, Congress finally suspends Acharya Pramod Krishnam. Late by at least 2 years. Also sad for ANI who regularly goes to him for Anti Congress quotes.
Journalist Jeetu Burdak shared the viral letter and wrote, Acharya Pramod has been suspended from Congress.
Apart from this, Samsher Yadav and Rahul Saini Mitrapura also shared the viral and made similar claims.

During our investigation, we started looking into the viral letter as we wanted to understand every detail. The first thing that caught our attention was the address mentioned on the letter – 10, Downing Street. Now, this is no ordinary address! It is the official residence and office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in London.
The second curious thing we noticed was the date written on the letter. It said February 2, 2024, claiming that Congress had suspended Acharya Pramod on that day. But here’s the twist – the letter was already buzzing on social media on February 1, 2024, a day before the date mentioned in the letter! It’s like trying to say something happened tomorrow, but everyone already knows about it today. This raised a big red flag and strongly suggests that the letter is fake.
Next, we did a keyword search with the relevant keywords and stumbled upon a report by Zee News dated February 1, 2024! According to this report, the news about Acharya Pramod Krishnam being expelled from the Congress party is not just a little off; it’s completely false! Zee News made it clear that this information is wrong, meaning that the letter spreading on social media was spreading misinformation.
Hence, all these points together prove that the viral letter stating that Acharya Pramod had been suspended from the Congress Party with immediate effect is fake and edited. Moreover, the claims made by Mohammed Zubair and others regarding the viral letter are also misleading.
