Video of Patient Falling Out of Ambulance on Yamuna Expressway is AI-Generated

A video showing a patient lying on a stretcher accidentally falling out of an ambulance is being shared online with the claim that the incident occurred on the Yamuna Expressway.

Fact Check

In the viral video, upon closer examination, we noticed several discrepancies. For instance, the word “ambulance” written on the rear of the vehicle appears upside down. The ambulance has only one door, while the other is missing. Additionally, the ambulance is moving at a very high speed, yet when the patient falls out, the stretcher does not move at all. It slips out very smoothly, which is unrealistic. Moreover, when the patient falls, neither the oxygen mask on their face nor the IV fluid bottle moves. All this indicated that the viral clip is not real.

Next, we performed AI detection on the clip using Hive moderation tool. The detection confirmed that the clip was entirely AI-generated.

In conclusion, the clip showing a stretcher bound patient falling out of an ambulance on the Yamuna Expressway does not depict any real-life incident. The clip is AI-generated.
