A tweet from the Twitter account Chandrakant Ghatge that lists the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and right-wing Hindu organisations whose daughters and relatives married Muslim men is being circulated on social media. Murali Manohar Joshi, L.K. Advani, and RSS head Mohan Bhagwat are on this list of the BJP leaders.
Another Twitter user @/lalisouth also made the same claims in a tweet reply.

Below are the claims made by the Twitter user along with its fact.
Claim 1:
The BJP member Murli Manohar Joshi’s son in law is Shahnawaz Hussain.
Fact:
According to the Wikipedia page, the wife of the BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain is Renu Sharma. In the year 1994, he married Renu.
Moreover, as per the biography of Murli Manohar Joshi on the BJP‘s official page he has two daughters and none of them are named Renu. Priyamvada Joshi and Nivedita Joshi are the names of the first and second daughters, respectively.
As per one of the article by the Jansatta narrating the love story between Shahnawaz and his wife, has mentioned that the name of his wife is Renu Sharma.
Claim 2:
The senior leader of the BJP Lal Krishna Advani’s son in law is Salim.
Fact:
According to information found on the official page of the BJP, he has two children named Pratibha and Jayant Advani.
Years ago, Pratibha Advani had a brief marriage to hotelier Kailash Thadani, who was of Gujarati and Sindhi descent. However, they parted ways.
Additionally, we did a keyword search to see if Pratibha had married another person named Salim after separating from her first husband. But we found no record of her second marriage nor she is associated with any person named Salim
Claim 3:
Mohsin Akhtar is the husband of Mohan Bhagwat’s niece.
Fact:
We found a few old claims when we conducted a keyword search for “Mohsin Akhtar, the spouse of Mohan Bhagwat’s niece.” In 2016, Urmila wed Muslim Mohsin Akhtar Mir of Kashmir, and she shortly joined the Congress. Around this time, rumours that she was RSS Bhagwat’s niece started making rounds on social media.
According to the fact check video by India Today, Urmila while speaking to them denied these assertions and remarked that, this story would have been better than a film script if it was true.
Moreover, in our research we couldn’t find any trace of LK Advani’s niece on Google pages who has married Altaf Hussain, according to the claims. Additionally, Subramaniam Swamy’s daughter Suhasini Haider has indeed married Nadeem Haider.
