Amid the viral video of Delhi’s jailed Minister Satyendra Jain receiving massage therapy from a man in Tihar jail, the Aam Aadmi Party’s Twitter account has uploaded a video of Arvind Kejriwal. In the video, while hitting at the BJP for its “VVIP treatment” jibe, he stated that Satyendra Jain is receiving physiotherapy on the doctor’s suggestion. He is not receiving any VIP treatment.

In our research, we found that, according to The Indian Express report, sources from Tihar jail have disclosed that the man in a viral video giving Satyendra Jain a massage is Rinku. He is not a physiotherapist, as the Aam Aadmi Party claims. In reality, he is Jain’s inmate. Rinku is charged with rape under Section 6 of the POCSO Act as well as Sections 376, 506, and 509 of the IPC.
The justification given by the Aam Aadmi Party that Satyendra Jain was undergoing physiotherapy was a cover-up lie to defend the video and hide the fact that the party is misusing its authority.
