In the start of the research, with the keyword search we came across a few media reports. In September, 2021, the DRI confiscated a total of 2,988.21 kg of Afghan heroin from two container at the Mundra port.

Following the seizure of the drugs, the DRI investigated various sites in Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Gandhidham, and Mandvi, and the Chennai-based couples, Govindaraju Durgapurn Vaishali and her spouse Machhavaram Sudhakar, were arrested. The claim that no action has been taken regarding this matter is fake. The investigation is not being hampered in any way. The NIA filed the second supplementary chargesheet last month and has arrested many accused so far, including Afghan citizens. It has also investigated LeT terror links, and further investigation is underway.

Sanjay Singh is making all of these claims in order to attack PM Modi and Gautam Adani. He is attempting to portray that because the issue is related to Mundra port, which is owned by Adani, no action is being done. The Adani group has already given clarification on this issue in 2021.
