On 2 December 2022, propaganda Cartoonist Rakesh Ranjan tweeted a video of BJP’S national spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra. In this video, Sambit Patra is shown allegedly anchoring, with the logo of NDTV. Along with the video, Rakesh Ranjan also wrote in the tweet “What am I seeing here”.
Moreover, this video is being shared after propaganda journalist Ravish Kumar resigned from the channel after Adani Group became the majority stakeholder of NDTV. By sharing the video, an attempt is being made to show that BJP’s Sambit Patra has started anchoring in NDTV after Adani’s takeover.
So, is true that Sambit has started anchoring in NDTV after Adani’s takeover? Let’s Fact Check.

During our research, we first searched for the introduction given by Sambit Patra in the viral video by the name of the show To The Point.
Later, an old video of India Today was found after searching keywords like ‘To the Point’, ‘Guest Anchor’, and ‘Sambit Patra’ on the internet. According to the video posted on June 3, 2018, BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra, while anchoring India Today’s ‘To the Point’ show, was discussing whether the united opposition is a real challenge to Modi!
Moreover, after listening to India Today’s entire video, we found that after 40 seconds of the video, Sambit is speaking exactly what is heard in the viral video.
