Viral clip of Salman Khan threatening Lawrence Bishnoi is edited
A recent controversy between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has stirred social media. A new video of Salman Khan has gone viral on X, in which the actor allegedly says, “Lawrence Bishnoi, you have made a grave mistake by taking a father away from his son. Very soon, you will be held accountable for your actions. I swear to God, I will bring you to your knees.”
Dhruv Rathee parody account sharing the video wrote, “Salman Khan gave an open challenge to Vishnoi.”
The video was also shared by several other users on X, including the fan account of actor and TMC politician Shatrughan Sinha, Saukeen Khan Singhal, and Mohammad Mojibullah.

In our fact-check research, we extracted keyframes from the viral video and conducted a reverse image search. The reverse search led us to a YouTube short shared by Qu Play, where we spotted a similar keyframe. The video clip is three years old and taken from Arbaz Khan’s show ‘Pinch Season 2’ where Salman Khan appeared as a guest in the first episode.
On the Qu Play channel, we found the complete video, which is 22 minutes and 49 seconds long. In this show, Salman Khan discussed various issues, including social media trolling, his personal life, and family. At the timestamp of 14:51, we spotted the same keyframe visible in the viral video. Here, Arbaaz Khan asked Salman Khan, “While there are some people on social media who make negative comments, there are also a lot more people who love you.” To this, Salman Khan replied, “Even if 90% of the people come on social media to criticize me, and only 10% are praising me, I will post for those 10% people.”
Nowhere in the video does Salman Khan mention Lawrence Bishnoi, making it clear that a different audio has been added to the clip.
In conclusion, the viral video of Salman Khan warning Lawrence Bishnoi is edited. In reality, the video is from Arbaaz Khan’s show “Pinch Season 2,” where Salman Khan appeared as a guest in the first episode. On the show, he discussed various topics, including social media trolling, his personal life, and family.
