Fact Check

To verify the claim, we conducted a reverse image search of the viral video. The search led us to an X post from the handle Blu Radio Colombia, dated January 16, 2024. The post stated: “A video recorded the moment when a woman tried to enter the TransMilenio system without paying, through one of the ‘anti-skip’ doors, apparently, at the Tunal Portal. However, due to her build, she got stuck and had to crawl back on the ground, so she was ultimately unable to avoid paying the fare.”

Further investigation revealed an article published on Laufm.com, which read, “In Bogotá, the problem of users who access the TransMilenio service without paying continues to be a topic of discussion. Although measures have been put in place to prevent this from happening, people continue to think of ways to sneak in. A video that went viral showed how a woman was about to sneak into the TransMilenio but got trapped. This image caused laughter among all users because of the way she tried to get under a barrier.”

The article further explained: “In the video, the woman can be seen lying on the floor trying to cross over a transparent surface. Apparently, she miscalculated and thought she could get through from the bottom. However, the video shows that, although the woman tried to cross in several ways, she was unable to cross. That is why she finally gave up and had to return on the ground because she was unable to achieve her goal.”

Conclusion: This incident occurred in Bogotá, Colombia, about a year ago, and has no connection to India, London, or any individual named Panam Singh.
