In this tweet, he asserted that, following Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s speech about the alleged involvement of the Indian government in the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh and the subsequent anger within the Sikh community, changes have occurred. He claimed that Sikh security personnel stationed at Rashtrapati Bhavan in India have been replaced.

Furthermore, he said there are reports that the Indian Army is refusing leave requests for Sikh soldiers who wish to visit their homes. There is a prevailing sense of apprehension among them, as they fear a potential repeat of history, that PM Modi might meet the same fate as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Another Twitter handler known for disseminating false information, Salman Khan, also shared a tweet and questioned, “Could Modi be the Next Indira?” Salman Khan claimed that Sikh soldiers had been compelled to take leave. He further claimed that, After Justin Trudeau’s speech on the Indian government’s involvement in leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s assassination & the ensuing anger in the Sikh community, Sikh security personnel at Rashtrapati Bhavan replaced.

They unequivocally clarified that the claims made by Parkash Kumar Bheel were entirely baseless and false.

In their official tweet, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information sternly stated that misleading and counterfeit messages were being disseminated across social media platforms by individuals with ulterior motives, aiming to spread rumors and sow seeds of hatred. Their message resonated as a cautionary call, urging everyone to remain vigilant and exercise discernment in the face of such deceptive news.

Continuing our investigation, we stumbled upon yet another significant tweet, this time by PIB Fact Check, dated September 19, 2023. In a powerful response to the controversial post made by Parkash Kumar Bheel, also recognized as Dalit Official, PIB Fact Check swiftly moved to debunk the claims put forth. Their statement left no room for ambiguity as they emphatically asserted that the assertions made by Parkash Kumar Bheel were entirely unfounded and had been shared with a clear intent—to create disharmony.

PIB Fact Check went further to clarify that no such decisions, as alluded to in the contentious post, had been taken by the concerned authorities.

Hence, all these points prove that the sensational claim asserting the replacement of Sikh security personnel at Rashtrapati Bhavan in India, stemming from the discontent within the Sikh community due to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s speech on alleged Indian government involvement in the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh, is unequivocally false.
