During our research, we first did a keyword search, focusing on the intriguing phrase “Gas cylinder for ₹450 in Madhya Pradesh.” During this, we came across a report from Dainik Bhaskar, dated September 15, 2023.

According to this report, an exciting development was unfolding under the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana. It was announced that, starting from Friday, forms for acquiring gas cylinders priced at an astonishingly low Rs 450 would be available. However, to be eligible for this, one must already possess a gas connection in the woman’s name.

Umakant Umrao, the Principal Secretary, confirmed this significant change, stating that as of September 1st, gas cylinders would indeed be obtainable for a mere Rs 450. The forms for this will be filled at the same place where Ladli Behna’s forms were filled. The District Food Department was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing this process.

Those dear sisters who held gas connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and were registered under MMLBY in the non-PMUY category, will be able to avail the benefits. Moreover, Sisters must also have their own LPG connection ID and Ladli Behna Yojana ID.
