The 3,500 km journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir will take five months to complete. Senior Congress officials including Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will attend the padayatras, rallies, and public meetings that are part of the yatra.

A rhetorical war between the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party is taking place in the midst of the Bharat Jodo Yatra campaign. No opportunity is being left by either side to lash out at the other. Pertaining to a rhetorical war, on September 30, 2022, the Uttar Pradesh unit of Congress party shared two scenes in their tweet and took a jibe at the BJP party members. The first image is of Rahul Gandhi holding the hand of an accompanying member of the Congress party during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The second image was from a BJP event, and it attempted to show that PM Modi and Amit Shah were sitting whereas seat was not offered to LK Advani.
Through this tweet they tried to present that how Rahul Gandhi is full of “sanskaar” whereas BJP party members are the epitome of arrogance. Was Lal Krishn Advani disrespected by Amit Shah? Lets verify it.
In our research, using the reverse image search tool we came across a report by Prokerala from 2014. As per the report, the image shared by INC is from the BJP National Council meeting in New Delhi on August 9, 2014. The BJP convened a National Council Meeting in Delhi in 2014 following the appointment of Amit Shah as president. Among those present at the National Council Meeting were the then Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and LK Advani.
In the pictures shared by Prokerala from the National Council Meeting, it can be clearly seen that the seat is offered to all the leaders present on the stage including, LK Advani.
Further, to know the whole truth behind the picture shared by INC, using the keyword search BJP National Council Meeting on August 9, 2014, at Delhi, we found a video on YouTube that the BJP had posted on their channel on August 9, 2014. Two separate sessions of the video were uploaded. After analyzing both the videos, our team discovered that the reality differs from what the INC tried to portray. In the second session of the video from 21 min 30 sec, Amit Shah can be seen advising LK Advani on where he should deliver his speech. LK Advani opted to stand on the podium that was located on the stage’s back side to deliver his speech. The INC party shared the edited portion of the video to mislead the people.
