Rahul Gandhi is still on Bharat Jodo Yatra some photographs of a huge crowd are going viral on social media with a claim that this huge crowd is gathered for welcoming Rahul Gandhi at Chanwali in the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan.
These photos have been shared by Ashish Saini who is president of the OBC department of Uttarakhand Congress, Pankaj Upadhyay social media convenor of Youth Congress Udaipur, Suraj Chauhan social media in-charge of Bhadohi Congress, etc.
So, are these viral photos really from Bharat Jodo Yatra? Let’s Fact Check.

During our research, we first reverse-searched the viral images. We found a tweet made by Pankaj Ji Maharaj on December 3, 2022. He tweeted, “Huge crowd gathered in the program of sacred Dada Guru Maharaj’s Holy feast”.
Moreover, he made several other tweets as well in which more scenes from the religious program were shown.
On matching the keyframes of the viral image and the original image, we found similarity between the two.
To have more clarity, we tried to find out on which date Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra was in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar as per the claim. Through a related keywords search on Twitter, we found a tweet made by Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot on December 4, 2022, in which he wrote, “Thanks for the hospitality shown by the congress workers on reaching Jhalawar. We are all waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Rahul Gandhi and the marchers”, he added.
Apart from this, we also found NDTV’s tweet from the same day, in which it was mentioned that Bharat Jodo Yatra has reached Rajasthan and Rahul Gandhi was given a grand welcome in Jhalawar.
Hence, all these points prove that the viral pictures are not of Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra but of the holy feast organized in Mathura.
