Our Indian army had always been trained to be an ethical force; the current situation is causing it to become an ethnic force. Mark my words, this situation is going towards a complete mutiny. We have all seen what is happening in Assam. Our Army is being trained by Israeli instructors whose first instruction is that all Muslims, Sikhs, Rongmeis, and Kukis are not humans. They first teach how to dehumanize them.”
The video is being shared with the claim that Manoj Pande, the former Army Chief, warned of a possible mutiny over the Indian Army’s support for Israel.

Our Indian Army was always trained as a moral force, but the current situation is turning it into an ethnic force. Remember my words, this situation is heading towards full-scale rebellion. We have all seen what is happening in Assam.”

Fact Check
In our fact-check research, we ran a keyword search on Google using keywords such as “Former Army Chief General Manoj Pande Indian Army mutiny over Israel support,” but found no report about any such statement made by Manoj Pande.
Next, we extracted keyframes from the video and ran a reverse image search. This led us to original video of former Army Chief General Manoj Pande posted on the official x handle of PTI. Upon comparing the viral video and the PTI’s version, it was found that the circulating clip has been digitally manipulated.

In the original PTI’s video, Former Gen Manoj Pande said, ”We live in a complex world. We should be able to anticipate not only the current security threat challenges but also what is coming in the future. Once you have anticipated it, you have to prepare yourself accordingly. You have to have those capabilities which will enable you to effectively fight future wars.”
Further in the video, he also stressed that the armed forces to anticipate future threats like advanced drones and cyber warfare, while balancing modernization with budget constraints.
Nowhere in the clip does Manoj Pande make any remarks about India’s support for Israel or warned about a possible mutiny in the Indian army. The viral clip circulating on social media is doctored and fake.
In conclusion, the viral video claiming that former Army Chief Gen. Manoj Pande spoke about India supporting Israel and a possible mutiny in the Indian Army is misleading. The clip has been digitally manipulated; in the original video, he was discussing the need for the armed forces to prepare for future security challenges.
