A news advertisement is going viral on social media regarding the recruitment for the post of Chairman in the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), a regulatory body under the Government of India. While sharing this advertisement clipping, it is being claimed that efforts are being made by the government to remove Madhabi Puri Buch from the Chairperson post in an attempt to save her. This claim stems from the Hindenburg report, which linked Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband, Dhaval Buch, to Adani. Hindenburg, in its report, mentioned that Adani has close ties with Buch, which is why no investigation was conducted against him. This happened after SEBI sent a letter to Hindenburg asking for an explanation regarding its report. Following this, Hindenburg published another report accusing Buch of a scandal and alleging her ties with Adani.
Sharing the newspaper clipping, the handle Rao Sahab wrote, “Kitne aaram se hatayenge buch madam ko. Bacha liya aaram se.” (Archived link)
