Fact Check
In our fact check research, we took keyframes from the viral video and ran a reverse image search. During this, we found a report by News Bytes dated July 20, 2023. In this report, we found a same keyframe from the viral video. According to the report, this two years old video is from Soupi village of Bageshwar district in Uttarakhand.
The same keyframe was also found in another report by Dainik Bhaskar dated July 20, 2023. The report states that the Soupi village was adopted under the BJP MP Adarsh Gram Yojana. Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, the drains were overflowing with water, forcing children to risk their lives by crossing the dangerous drain to reach school.
