A 30 second video clip is going viral on social media showing a man wearing an Israeli flag, sitting on top of a bulldozer, and holding a microphone. Many people in army uniforms can be seen celebrating and cheering joyfully around the bulldozer. The caption of the video says, “Mossad Chief just got back to the office.”
This video is being circulated with the claim that Israeli soldiers were celebrating the acquittal of nine soldiers accused of raping Palestinian hostages in a detention center.
An X user The Resonance shared the video with a caption, “Do you know what this celebration was for? ISRAEL released 9 soldier who raped PAIESTlNlAN hostages in detention centre… This is what western media hides from you!” (Archive link)

We performed a reverse image search of the keyframes in the video and found the same video posted on X on November 10, 2023.
The Hebrew description of the post translates to: “How much I love them, they are happy. Avihu Pinhasov bursts into laughter.”
Avihu Pinhasov is a famous Israeli pop singer and composer associated with the Avihu Pinhasov Rhythm Club, a band that blends various musical styles including pop, rock, and Mediterranean influences.
Using this information, we conducted a further keyword search with “Avihu Pinhasov” and “Israeli soldiers.” During this search, we found a report from The Jewish Chronicle titled “Israeli soldiers disciplined after out-of-control party with pop star,” published on November 17, 2023. The report featured the same keyframes seen in the viral social media post.
According to the report, Pinhasov was invited by an army officer to perform to boost morale for his unit stationed in northern Israel. However, the event sparked controversy, as the soldiers showing weapons in the video violated military rules. After the video went viral, several soldiers were disciplined by the IDF and those showing weapons were temporarily suspended.
Furthermore, we also found a video report by The Telegraph that included the viral clip. The video titled “Gun-waving Israeli soldiers strip pop star to sequined briefs in ‘insane’ concert” was uploaded on YouTube on November 17, 2023. According to the report, several Israeli soldiers were disciplined by the IDF for attending an army base concert where a pop star stripped down to her sequined underwear and rode in the bucket of a bulldozer.
