On March 27, 2022, there was a terror attack in Hadera, Israel, targeting civilians and border police at a bus stop along Herbert Samuel Street. On the same day, Bar-Lev arrived along with the then Prime Minister Naftali Bennett arrived at the attack location to take assessment of the situation.

There were also protests at the location following the attack. As Bar-Lev was addressing the media, he explained that the incident continued and police were scanning the area to check for possible accomplices. Ben Gvir at this point cut him off and shouted at Bar-Lev, telling him “Stop it! You should be ashamed! You’re the worst minister. They took the most leftist person they could find and made him public security minister!”

This resulted in a fiery argument between the two, where Bar-Lev had retorted, “No, I’m not ashamed. You should be ashamed! You’re nothing!” The argument went so far that police intervened and had to push them apart.

We also discovered a video uploaded on Kan News on March 28, 2022, in which Bar-Lev makes a statement to the media, and how Ben Gvir cut him short, causing a verbal argument between the two politicians.

In conclusion, the video of the verbal confrontation between the two Israeli politicians is from March 27, 2022, which was a public political clash following a deadly terror attack in Hadera.
