Digitalization accelerated during the COVID-19 shutdown, and virtual learning emerged as a substitute. This made Arvind Kejriwal’s claim seemed suspicious. We conducted research and through keyword search on google we found a Facebook post by DD News Uttarakhand dated October 18, 2020, and a news article by THE TIMES OF INDIA dated October 20, 2020.
According to the reports, the country’s first virtual school, Seas Global Institute, was inaugurated by the former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
We conducted research on the Seas Global Institute website to confirm the accuracy of the news report by THE TIMES OF INDIA, and we discovered that the Seas Global Institute is the country’s first totally virtual school. It was inaugurated on October 17, 2020.
We found in our research that Arvind Kejriwal’s claim that the Country’s first virtual school is going to be built in Delhi is completely false.
