Sadhguru with his daughter Radhe Jaggi
On February 24, Shyam Meera Singh, a YouTuber and political commentator, released a video titled “What’s Happening in Sadhguru’s Ashram?” In this video, he made several serious allegations against Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and the Isha Foundation. Shyam Meera Singh claims to have uncovered hidden practices within the Isha Foundation, including the initiation of minor girls into Brahmacharya. He shared purported internal emails suggesting that minor girls at the Isha Foundation were subjected to inappropriate practices during their initiation into Brahmacharya. Following these allegations, a picture of Sadhguru has gone viral, showing a girl sitting on his lap. This image is being shared with the wrong text claiming that a stranger girl is sitting on Sadhguru’s lap.
Sharing the image, the user Lakhan Meena wrote, “This Malang is accused of giving initiation to small girls by making them half naked.” (Archived link)

In our fact-check, we conducted a reverse image search of the viral picture, which led us to a tweet by Sadhguru from June 17, 2018. In this tweet, Sadhguru shared two pictures—one with his father and another with the same girl. He captioned the post, “A fortune to spend an hour with my dear father and they tell me it is #FathersDay.”
Through further research, we confirmed that the girl is Radhe Jaggi, the daughter of Sadhguru Jaggi. An Instagram post by Radhe Jaggi from April 2022 shows an interaction between her and Sadhguru. The caption of the post reads, “Sadhguru reveals his travel diet to his daughter Radhe.”
In conclusion, the image of Sadhguru with his daughter Radhe Jaggi is shared with the misleading context.
