A video showing a crowd standing near a convoy of cars, cheering and waving Congress flags, is going viral on social media. It is being claimed that the video is from Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s recent campaign rally in Wayanad.
Congress supporter Monika Singh sharing the video wrote, “A huge crowd gathered at Priyanka Gandhi’s Wayanad campaign.”
INC News wrote, ‘The whole of Wayanad has come out on the streets for Priyanka Gandhi. Look at the crowd. The biggest victory in the history of India is going to be recorded.”
The video with the same claim was also shared by other handles, including Sasikant Singh and Vineel Yadav.

In our fact check, we extracted various keyframes from the video and conducted a reverse image search. The search led us to a Facebook post by the Marathi news outlet Samachar First. The video was uploaded five months ago, and the caption reads, ‘Priyanka Gandhi’s public meeting in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, was flooded.
Apart from this, we found a similar video of the Nandurbar rally on TV9 Marathi, where people around the convoy of cars were holding Congress flags and cheering. The video was uploaded on May 11, 2024.
The same video of the Nandurbar rally was also located on Priyanka Gandhi’s Instagram page.
The Times of India also reported that Priyanka Gandhi held a rally in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, on May 11, 2024.
Conclusion: The viral video is actually from a rally held by Priyanka Gandhi in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, in May 2024, and is not related to her recent campaign in Wayanad.
