The Election Commission recently shared data related to Electoral Bonds on its website, sourced from the State Bank of India (SBI). This information, spread across two extensive lists totaling 763 pages, offers insights into both the purchasers of these bonds and the political parties receiving them. However, there’s a catch: the electoral bond data does not specify which company donated to which party. Now, since this info came out, social media has exploded with all sorts of claims. Some people are claiming on social media that the BJP received a whopping Rs 11,000 crores through these bonds.
