A video depicting a massive blaze is circulating across social media. It is being claimed that the footage shows Iran launching a powerful strike on Tel Aviv. However, upon verification, the claim was found to be misleading.
An X user Tanmoy shared the viral video and wrote,“BREAKING If US President Donald Trump does not take Immediate Steps toward a CEASEFIRE, a Place called Tel Aviv will Cease To Exist. Iran is Striking Tel Aviv with Extreme Force.”
X handle named GBX News wrote, “BREAKING If Trump does not hurry for a ceasefire, there will be no place left called Tel Aviv. Iran is striking Tel Aviv very hard.”

During the fact-check, keyframes were extracted from the viral video and a reverse image search was conducted. In the process, we found a similar video posted on March 20, 2026, on a Facebook page named “Khabar.” According to the post, the footage shows a fire that broke out inside a restaurant in Kafr Taharmas, Faisal, a city in Egypt.
In conclusion, a video claiming to show a massive fire and crowd panicking in Tel Aviv during an Iranian attack is misleading. The footage shows a fire at a restaurant in Egypt on March 20, 2026. Its unrelated to Israel-Iran conflict.
