Following four days of targeted missile attacks, drone intrusions, and artillery exchanges along the Line of Control (LoC), India and Pakistan reached an agreement to cease all military operations—by land, air, and sea—starting the evening of May 10. After the ceasefire, a protest rally video is being widely shared on social media by Pakistani users. In the video, people can be heard abusing PM Modi and Amit Shah. It is being claimed that following India’s defeat against Pakistan, protests have erupted in India against Modi and Amit Shah.

In our investigation of this claim, we conducted a reverse image search of the viral video. This led us to the original footage, which was uploaded on April 27, 2025, on a YouTube channel named Sam Alvi Vlog.

In the original video, protesters can be heard chanting slogans such as “Woh Kashmir hamara hai… woh POK hamara hai.” Notably, there is no evidence of any abusive language directed toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah in the original footage.

During the investigation, we found the original video of the protest. BJP leader Vikram Bidhuri shared this video on April 27, stating that it was a demonstration held in Tughlakabad village, Delhi, against the Pahalgam terror attack. In the video, people can be seen holding black posters, which are also visible in the viral clip.
