In the actual video, he responds to and criticises AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s remarks on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s comment on love jihad. He says that the difference between love marriage and love jihad is that the latter occurs when a Muslim youth, or someone from another religion, deceives a Hindu girl by adopting a Hindu name and forms a relationship.
He further says that in love marriage, the woman has the freedom to follow her religion. But when she falls victim to love jihad, since the start of marriage she is forced to change her religion.
Nowhere in the clip did Pratul Shah make any controversial remarks about the removal of Muslims from the Indian Army or accused them of acting as spies for Pakistan. The clip going viral is doctored.
In conclusion, the clip showing Pratul Shah speaking about the removal of Muslim soldiers from the Indian Army and accusing them of leaking information to Pakistan is not real. The video has been digitally altered; in the original clip, he was speaking about love jihad.
