Clip of ‘Baba Bageshwar’ Dance Actually Shows Vrindavan Devotional Dancer Akash Tiwari

A video is circulating on social media claiming to show Dhirendra Shastri (Baba Bageshwar) performing a dance.

In our fact-check research, we took keyframes from the video and performed a reverse image search, which led us to a post by @/akash.tiwari.vrindavan452. There, we found the same video posted on April 5, 2024. (Archived link)

It turns out that the person in the video is actually Akash Tiwari/Akash Krishna Shastri, a devotional dancer in Vrindavan.

On this page, we found several videos of Akash Tiwari performing devotional dance, many of which were performed inside the temple premises.

In conclusion, the clip does not show Baba Bageshwar dancing. It shows Akash Tiwari, a devotional dance artist performing in Vrindavan.
