Recently, a claim is circulating on social media alleging that a new satellite imagery has been released showing that India has completed replacing the roof of the Beas weapons storage facility (or BrahMos missile storage site), which was struck and destroyed by Pakistan attack on May 10, 2025 during the India-Pakistan conflict.
Sharing the satellite imagery, the handle Irves wrote, “New satellite imagery shows that India has completed the roof replacement work on Beas weapons storage facility. The storage was struck in Pakistani rocket strikes on 10th May 2025.” (Archived link)

Fact Check
In our fact-check research, we found that the claim about Pakistan striking a weapon facility located in Beas, Punjab, India is misleading.
An image now circulating as evidence of Pakistani strikes at a "weapons storage facility in Beas, Punjab, India" is misleading – verification confirms it is actually of a religious site called "Dera Beas" & was never damaged during the India-Pakistan May 2025 conflict pic.twitter.com/7ydwA4DE3r

It was found that the location is not a weapon facility, but instead a religious site called Dera Beas, a well-known religious centre located in Beas, Punjab, India.
Next, we compared the alleged satellite imagery with Shed No. 13 on Google Maps. A comparison of the surrounding features visible in the viral image with visible structures on Google Maps confirmed that the site being claimed as a weapons storage facility is, in fact, a religious shed located within the Dera Beas complex.

The location identified as Shed No.13, which is being claimed as a weapon facility in Beas, is at the distance of 975.72 meter from the Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, which is a headquarter of Radha Soami Satsang Beas.

Radha Soami Satsang Beas is a spiritual organization founded in 1889 in Punjab by Baba Jaimal Singh, a revered spiritual teacher. The headquarters, Dera Baba Jaimal Singh (also known as Dera Beas), was named after its founder and serves as a religious and community center for its followers. The organization currently has 5,000 centers all over India. (Click here)
On Google map, the nearby location of Dera Beas is clearly visible. These include large, roofed sheds built to accommodate religious, community activities and volunteer operation. These sheds are spread throughout the Dera Beas campus, which itself spans thousands of acres.
The site of one of its sheds which is numbered 13 is being falsely shared as a military depot. In reality, it is part of the Dera’s religious and community infrastructure, and there is no evidence of any military installation at this location.
In conclusion, the claim that Pakistan destroyed the Beas Weapons Facility in Punjab during May 2025 conflict and that India recently began re-roofing it is false. The site is actually a community shed belonging to the religious and spiritual center Dera Baba Jaimal Singh (also known as Dera Beas).
