An image of a handcuffed man is going viral on social media with the claim that Bahraini authorities have arrested an Indian telecommunications engineer named Nitin Mohan, for providing sensitive information to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

Bahrain’s security forces have taken into custody Nithin Mohan, an Indian telecommunications engineer, on suspicion of providing sensitive information to Mossad. According to initial reports, the suspect provided Mossad with geographical data, images, videos of strategic locations, and espionage photographs.”

According to the report, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of five Pakistani and one Bangladeshi, for their involvement in cybercrime violations. The individuals arrested are Mohamed Moaz Akbar (Pakistan), Afzal Khan (Pakistan), Ahmed Mumtaz (Pakistan), Arsalan Ali Sajid (Pakistan), Abdul Rahman Abdul Sattar (Pakistan), and Mohamed Israfil Meer (Bangladesh). No Indian national was involved.
