No Damage to Adani’s Haifa Port in Iran Missile Attack
Iran and Israel are currently engaged in the most intense direct conflict, with Israel launching significant airstrikes against Iranian military and nuclear facilities on June 13, 2024. Iran, in retaliation, has launched a number of missiles and drones at Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa. Amid all this, a viral social media claim asserts that Adani Port in Haifa has been destroyed by Iranian ballistic missiles used in this attack.
Sharing the claim, the handle Iran Update wrote, “Indian company Adani’s cargo facility worth $4.2 Billion in Israel’s Haifa port, destroyed by Iranian strikes.” (archived link)
Tanmoy claimed, “LIC alone bought ₹5,000 crore of Adani Ports’ Bonds. Within the last 24 hours, Iranian Missiles Destroyed Adani’s Haifa Port—something smart investors saw coming, but LIC didn’t. No Sensible Investor would risk so much on #AdaniPorts. Only Modi has made LIC Adani’s Piggy Bank. This Scam is happening in front of us, but Godi Media keeps the Nation Quiet. Another Big Modi-Adani Trick On Indians!” (archived link)
Awesh Tiwari stated, “I am deeply saddened; my soul is weeping. Adani’s Haifa port in Israel has been destroyed after being hit by Iran’s cursed missiles. This is a moment of immense crisis for the devoted followers. Israel depended on this port for 30% of its imports. The nearby oil refinery has also been destroyed by Iran. Everything is up in smoke. May Allah grant mercy.” (archived link)
Barbarik asserted, “Indian company Adani group’s cargo facility in Israel’s Haifa port worth $4.2 billion destroyed by Iranian strikes.” (archived link)
The same claim was also shared by other handles like Divya Kumaari (archived link), iUdhoke (archived link), RKM Times (archived link ), and Hajji Wayne Conley (archived link ).
