We began our fact-checking process by conducting a reverse image search of the video. This led us to an Instagram account belonging to Akhi Mishra, where he posted a video featuring children carrying bundles of demonetized notes.
Upon further investigation of Akhi Mishra’s Instagram account, we discovered that the location was based in India.
Additionally, we found another video on his account in which he thanked viewers for watching and helping the video reach over a million views.
In another video, the content creator expressed his gratitude to the children from the original video. A car was visible in the background, and we took a screenshot of its number plate. Although the image was slightly blurry, we enhanced the contrast using image editing tools, which revealed the number as UP32EC7322.
A quick search on Google showed that UP32 is the RTO code for Lucknow.
