The aftermath of India’s loss in the cricket World Cup final is still palpable. However, even three days after the match, the concerted efforts of the leftist and Islamist nexus to tarnish India and Ahmedabad persist. Notably, a video featuring Australian opener David Warner has surfaced online. In the video, the crowd can be heard chanting the slogan “Jai Sri Ram” while Warner is positioned near the boundary lines.

Savvy wrote on X, “This video reminds me when we have come so insensitive and insecure for our gods. David Warner has nothing to do with religion still people were chanting Jai Shri Ram.”

Anti-India and Anti Hindu, БРАТ wrote, “Confidence is calm, insecurity is loud.”

X user Mike Ross wrote, “If it would have been in Southern stadiums, fans would have shouted for Pushpa dance when Warner is fielding near boundary. These idiots doesn’t even know how to enjoy the sports.”

Dharmicakaali wrote on X, “So fkn cringe dawg. I’ve never come across Hindus saying Jai Sri Ram out of devotion for Ram, rather, it’s always out of pure trolling or simply reactionary (like when they see a Muslim praying, etc). If this is “Hindu Revival,” then, good luck I guess.’

Additionally, users such as Biddo,  Nuvaid, and Glorious Punjabi Globally have disseminated the video capturing David Warner’s fielding, during which the crowd fervently echoed the slogan of “Jai Sri Ram.”

Fact Check

Our fact-checking initiative began with a thorough reverse search of multiple screenshots from the viral video, leading us to the discovery of the video on the ‘RaoDharvikVlogs’ YouTube channel. Uploaded on October 28, 2023, the footage captures viewers expressing enthusiasm for Warner by shouting ‘Pushpa Pushpa.’ Notably, Warner is observed showcasing dance moves in the video. Importantly, there is no audible instance of the slogan ‘Jai Sri Ram’ throughout the video.

Actually, in 2021, the actor Allu Arjun’s movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was released, earning him the Best Actor award and the National Film Award. The film became notable for its dialogue “Pushpa naam sunke flower samajhe kya… fire hai main” (Upon hearing the name Pushpa, you might think of a flower, but I am fire) and Allu Arjun’s dance sequences. As reported by AajTak in January 2023, David Warner has produced 4-5 videos, shared on his social media, including one with his daughter where he echoed the dialogue of Allu Arjun, the protagonist of Pushpa.

Since then, Indian cricketing enthusiasts have been captivated by the dance moves of Pushpa and David Warner. Warner enjoys a massive fan following in India, not just for his powerful batting but also for his graceful dance performances on Indian songs. Following his splendid century against Pakistan in Hyderabad, Warner celebrated in Pushpa style, showcasing his dance moves on the Pushpa song on multiple occasions in stadiums.

In summary, the video circulated by the Islamist-communist alliance, depicting the crowd chanting “Jai Sri Ram,” is manipulated and edited. In reality, David Warner was responding to the public’s request to showcase his dance skills. Additionally, considering the video was uploaded on YouTube on October 28, it is unlikely to be from the India-Australia final match held on November 19.
