In our fact check research, we ran a keyword search and found that the newspaper clipping dates back to 2017. According to NDTV report dated March 1, 2017, BJP Mahila Morcha leader Juhi Choudhary was arrested in connection with the child trafficking along the India-Nepal border.
Following this, she was remanded to CID custody for 12 days. After her arrest, the BJP had also expelled her from the party. Juhi Choudhary, however, claimed she has been framed as part of a political conspiracy.
